Casa de Barro is a project located in Amealco, Querétaro, within the agroecological ranch El Ameyal.

‍

The initial request was to design a small vacation cabin under 100 m², as part of the ranch’s lodging services.

‍

The site is a hilly region with a wide variety of plant species: grasses, trees, shrubs, and cacti shape a landscape that transforms with each season. The designated location for the project lies in the lower part of the ranch, in a clearing between the tree canopies and next to a seasonal stream.
